Sunrise Veterinary Surgery is a purpose designed RCVS accredited state-of-the-art independent veterinary practice, established in 2009, providing high quality health care for your pets.
Your pet’s health and welfare is at the heart of our agenda. We will do everything needed to provide the best possible care for your pet, taking into consideration your individual needs and expectations.
If you are not registered with us, we would normally offer you an opportunity to visit us so that we could give you a tour behind the scenes and answer any questions you may have. Due to the ongoing Coronavirus concerns a visit to the surgery is not appropriate for the time being. We can instead provide you a virtual video linked tour of the surgery.

Find out moreWe moved vets when Shams opened this surgery to continue with his care for our dog. He and the team have always been professional, caring and helpful. The few times Molly needed treatment (including having her puppies) he explained thoroughly to help us understand, the surgery performed or treatment given went well, she recovered as expected and the after care was excellent. We recently said goodbye to Molly, and until the end we experienced compassion, and a thoughtful and supportive approach. I cannot recommend Shams and his team enough.
1st time using the vets for our little puppy Milo's first needles. All the staff are very friendly and gave me brilliant advice on the best type of foods.

We were visiting friends in the area when my dog, Dobby wasn’t well, it was saturday morning and i didn’t want to wait til Monday. They fitted him in immediately. The vet, Dr Shams, was superb, gentle, thorough, professional - brilliant with the dog and with me! The receptionist was super friendly and reassuring too. This office always answers the phone (or gets back right away), always gets us in soon if our little guy has an issue or needs a regular seeing to. We really like that it's a small location/waiting room, and that generally you're the only one waiting. We've been to other vets in the past where the room is full of anxious pets, and that's not fun for anyone.
As always prompt caring attention to my 4 year old Springer. Consultation by phone and photo's, followed by an assessment at the surgery and in for surgery the next day. We have recommended Shams to our friends and rate his professionalism highly.
The surgery was friendly and professional, the vet was caring and supportive his priority was my special dog, I didn't feel rushed or pressured, I came away relaxed and confident. 😊
Access to very narrow.people are friendly . Clean. Dogs on leads. Just big enough to be interesting. We should more nature reserves.
