Sunrise Veterinary Surgery is a purpose designed RCVS accredited state-of-the-art independent veterinary practice, established in 2009, providing high quality health care for your pets.
Your pet’s health and welfare is at the heart of our agenda. We will do everything needed to provide the best possible care for your pet, taking into consideration your individual needs and expectations.
If you are not registered with us, we would normally offer you an opportunity to visit us so that we could give you a tour behind the scenes and answer any questions you may have. Due to the ongoing Coronavirus concerns a visit to the surgery is not appropriate for the time being. We can instead provide you a virtual video linked tour of the surgery.
Registering with us is easy – just call us to give your details; we will obtain your pet’s previous clinical history and take care of the rest.

The vet, Dr Shams, was superb, gentle, thorough, professional - brilliant with the dog and with me! The receptionist was super friendly and reassuring too. Brilliant vets! We registered two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels with Sunrise Veterinary Surgery and both lived to ripe old ages. They were also very happy, thanks in no small part to the wonderful care and excellent attention given by Dr Mir and his staff, who also provided sound advice, accurate diagnoses and successful operations. We now have two more of these lovely dogs, who have very good health and drag us to Sunrise whenever we pass by.
Wouldn’t take our two dogs anywhere else. Shams takes his time with examinations, and is very gentle with our dogs. He always thoroughly checks them over regardless of what they attend for.
One of our girls is very nervous and he is so understanding and patient with her.
In addition, the rest of Sunrise team are very friendly and helpful always make you feel welcome with a little chat. Very clean practice and plenty of parking on site too.

This is a lovely friendly run vets, your pet comes first, staff areca credit and deserve full praise
This office always answers the phone (or gets back right away), always gets us in soon if our little guy has an issue or needs a regular seeing to. We really like that it's a small location/waiting room, and that generally you're the only one waiting. We've been to other vets in the past where the room is full of anxious pets, and that's not fun for anyone.
Small carpark to front and rear. Opposite from hairdresser, DIY, delicatessen, opticians (I think) and a Morrisons Local.

Shams is sensitive, takes his time to explain everything to you...showing x rays/diagnostic images. So happy to have the team look after our boy.
